Carfiff, Wales, June 9:  In today’s World Cup Racing, PWRC athletes Caroline Queen, Casey Eichfeld, and Scott Parsons  earned their spots on the 2012 Olympic Team!

Men’s kayaker Scott Parsons (also a 2004 and 2008 Olympian) placed 11th, just .06 of a second out of finals.  In men’s canoe, Casey Eichfeld (also a 2008 Olympian) placed 6th.  In women’s kayak, Caroline Queen finished 35th to secure her first Olympic attendance.  PWRC athlete Ashley Nee also performed well at the World Cup, and she will be the first alternate for women’s kayak.
